MakeReady privacy

Updated September 18, 2026

Information we use

MakeReady uses your name, username, email, company role, property and apartment assignments to provide access. Work requests, comments, time logs, checklist records, photos, receipts, inventory and support messages are stored to operate the service. Clerk manages passwords and verification. Device push tokens are used when you enable notifications.

Camera and photos

Camera access is used when you choose to scan a product barcode or take a photo. Selected images are uploaded to your company’s records. We do not request microphone access, track advertising activity, or sell personal information. Avoid including unrelated people, card numbers or sensitive documents in photos.

Who can access records

Residents can access their own requests. Authorized company staff access records within their assigned role and properties. MakeReady support accesses support conversations and can access company records for troubleshooting through logged administrative access. Private photos and receipts use temporary access links.

Service providers

We use Clerk for identity, Supabase for database and private file storage, Vercel for hosting, Expo and Apple or Google for push delivery, and Stripe for company billing. Native push messages use generic descriptions; full work records remain inside the app.

Retention and deletion

Records remain while needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data in the app’s settings or on the account deletion page. Requests are processed automatically, with retries if a provider is unavailable. Save the confirmation link to check completion. Names and identifying content are removed from company work and inventory history; the remaining operational records retain quantities, amounts and timestamps. Backups may retain copies until their normal expiration and are not used to restore deleted accounts.
